Head of Business Development in Italy Alipay

Pietro is head of the Business Development in Italy at Alipay, operated by Ant Financial Services.

Before Alipay, Pietro was Partner at EY within the EMEIA Advisory Center, focusing on innovation and digital growth strategies with large customers. Pietro was also Partner at Booz & Company, within the European Communication Media & Technology practice and leader of the Digital Business & Technology practice in Italy. He advised private and public institutions to implement large innovation programs (digital media and TV, e-payment, e-commerce, cloud and smart service offer innovation, e-government, e-health, infomobility…). He has supported clients in Europe, Russia, India, Turkey, Northern Africa, Middle East, Australia.

He also served, as Independent Board Member, of a Financial Institution specialized in Mobile and Digital payments, and as professor of the Luiss University, he led the Communication Economics course in 2005-2007. Piero holds a degree in Electronics Engineering and an MBA from the Polytechnic of Milan.
