CEO HKAO – Human Knowledge As Opportunity

Umberto Rapetto is an Italian information technologist, journalist, writer, and financier.

Ex-student of the "Nunziatella" Military school, brigadier general (reserve) of the Guardia di Finanza corps and commander of the Nucleo Speciale Frodi Telematiche.

In Telecom Italia, after having been strategic councillor of the executive chairman, Franco Bernabè, and then – as Group Senior Vice President – director of the Iniziative e dei Progetti Speciali (Special Initiatives and Projects), he left the giant Italian telecommunication company at the end of 2013 in total disagreement with the choices of the new company management.

From June 2015 he hosts the television programme "Il Verificatore" on Rai2.

Currently he is CEO of HKAO – Human Knowledge As Opportunity, start-up operating in the scenario of systems and networks safety, data confidentiality, and industrial counterespionage with consultancy, coaching, design, and training activities.
